Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ throws a head kick but St John moves out of range.
Christ shoots for a takedown but St John saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Christ counters with a shoot takedown. St John fights it but they end up in guard.
St John is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Christ is controlling him.

Christ drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Christ jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
St John really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Christ. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Christ in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. St John tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Christ!

After winning the bout, George Christ thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
