The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Kong.

It looks like Lucia Gracie has been cut.
Kong swinging wildly here.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Kong counter with a right hand.
Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kong.
Kong swings for the body but Gracie moves out of range.
Kong lands a right hook to the body.
Gracie avoids the body shot from Kong.
Kong uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Gracie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kong wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Kong definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kong, who protects the arm well.

Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kong knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Gracie tries for a kimura but Kong is defending well.

Gracie has hold of Kong's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kong tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gracie cranks the arm and Kong screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kong, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
