Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jose gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Masters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, jose gomez!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gomez fails with a takedown attempt.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Masters pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from gomez.
gomez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ken Masters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jose gomez.
gomez closes the distance and clinches up with Masters, looking for a takedown. gomez pushes Masters against the cage but Masters circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Masters throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
jose gomez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
gomez looks for a takedown but Masters sprawls well.
Masters stuffs the takedown attempt from gomez. gomez gets slowly back to his feet.
gomez takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Masters moves into range and clinches up with gomez.
Masters pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
gomez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Masters counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Masters.
gomez looks gassed!
gomez is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Masters gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Masters manages to break the clinch.
gomez on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Masters moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Masters throws a one two combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Masters fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with gomez, pushing him back against the cage.
Masters breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Good exchange - Masters coming out on top.
gomez is rocked!
Masters steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! gomez is out on his feet! Masters sets himself and nearly takes gomez's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ken Masters!
