PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Torin Fann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Torin Fann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mirko Hendricks!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks throws the kick towards the body but Fann avoids it.
Fann looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Fann avoids a kick to the body.
Hendricks slaps away a takedown attempt from Fann, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fann walks into a straight right hand from Hendricks.
Some wild striking there from Hendricks.
Fann fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hendricks looks to land a body kick but Fann moved away.
Fann definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hendricks cracks Fann with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hendricks does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Mirko Hendricks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fann shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hendricks but Hendricks pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Torin Fann. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hendricks lands with a right hand.

Fann is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hendricks lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Fann out cold! Fann is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
