Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chad Cook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Solo Fann!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cook defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fann.
Cook closes the distance and clinches up with Fann, looking for a takedown. Cook pushes Fann against the cage but Fann circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fann is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Chad Cook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cook closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fann's guard.
Fann looks winded!

Cook decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Cook misses with a takedown attempt
and Fann counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cook is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Cook shoots in for a takedown but Fann shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chad Cook. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cook bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fann prevents Cook from improving position.

Cook is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fann is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cook swings around for an armbar but Fann sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cook's guard.

Cook working for submissions but it's allowed Fann to get to half guard.

Fann seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Cook is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
