PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bitch Made (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vin Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Made comes into the arena with AMAZING HORSE blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diesel clinches up with Made and pushes him back against the cage.

Diesel is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Made can't fight it off and eventually Diesel manages to take the fight to the floor. Made looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Diesel content to stall in guard here.
Made wants to sweep but no luck.
Made is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Hilo Fight lab that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Diesel trying to stand up but can't free himself from Made's guard.

Diesel has gone for a leg lock! Made slips out almost immediately though and dives into Diesel's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diesel is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Made is aware though and is defending well.

Diesel looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Made really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Made stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Diesel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Made looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Diesel misses with a takedown
and Made counters with a stiff right hand.

Made pushes Diesel up against the cage in a clinch.
Diesel is looking for a takedown.
Made controlling the action here for a moment.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Diesel has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Diesel wants a takedown.
Bitch Made has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vin Diesel.
Diesel has Made pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Made manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Made is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Made lands a body shot.
Made fails to pull guard.
Made is breathing heavily.
Diesel drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Diesel has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Made is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Diesel is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Made is defending well.
Made lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Diesel lands a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Diesel goes for a takedown in the clinch but Made prevents it.

Made has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Diesel regains guard immediately.

Made throwing strikes but missing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Made is pushing down on Diesel's leg trying to pass to half guard. Diesel is fighting to maintain full guard but Made has managed to sneak the leg through.
Made is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Made is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Diesel is defending against the submission attempts here by Made.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Made is just content to waste time from the top position. Diesel takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Made prevents Diesel from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bitch Made dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Made throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Diesel tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Made is in Diesel's guard.
Diesel has a closed guard, preventing Made from standing up.
Diesel looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Diesel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Made trying to control but Diesel is working from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Made avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Diesel keeping moving, preventing Made from controlling successfully.
Diesel wants to sweep here but Made controlling him for the moment.

Diesel working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Made has passed into half guard!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Diesel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Made's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Made's back!

Diesel is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Made is tapping out! This one is all over!
