Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, The Dragon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nikita Krylov!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dragon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Krylov, pushing him back against the cage.
We've been hearing reports that Dragon has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Krylov is trying to stall.

With the fighters up against the cage, Krylov throws an elbow but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dragon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Krylov uses from the top position.
Dragon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Krylov's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Dragon instigates a clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The Dragon dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Krylov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dragon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dragon tries to free his leg and advance position but Krylov is retaining full guard.
Dragon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Krylov wants to stand and escape but Dragon is having none of it.
Dragon advances position into side control!

Dragon passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Krylov!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dragon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dragon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Krylov for as long as he can get away with.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The Dragon dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Krylov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Krylov misses with an elbow strike.
Dragon dodges an elbow strike from Krylov.
Dragon blocks an elbow strike.
Krylov pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Krylov looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Dragon digs a right hand underneath Krylov's ribcage. Krylov let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Dragon blocks an elbow strike.
Krylov misses with an elbow strike.
Krylov has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Dragon seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Krylov can turn it around.

Dragon drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Krylov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Krylov pushes off an throws an elbow but Dragon leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Krylov creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Dragon tries to pull guard but Krylov forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Krylov misses with an elbow strike.
Krylov misses with an elbow strike.
Krylov pushes off an throws an elbow but Dragon leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Dragon drags the fight down to the ground.
The Dragon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dragon is on top in guard.

Krylov wants to stand and escape but Dragon is having none of it.
Dragon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Krylov can do to turn this around?

Nikita Krylov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The Dragon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Nikita Krylov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dragon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
