The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Christian.

Rogers drives through and clinches with Christian against the cage.
Rogers tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Our sources have told us that Christian has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Rogers drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rogers avoids a wild elbow strike from Christian.
Rogers goes for a takedown attempt but Christian pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Rogers shoots in looking for a takedown. Christian tries to sprawl out of it but Rogers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Christian manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
