Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Babushka Fandango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Howarth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Howarth will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howarth connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fandango momentarily.

It looks like Babushka Fandango has been cut.
Fandango misses with a few strikes there.

Fandango scores with a takedown into Howarth's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Howarth can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fandango lands a couple of digs.
Fandango in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Howarth looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fandango is one step ahead there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fandango stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Howarth swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fandango postures up in Howarth's guard and throws a big left but Howarth blocks it.

Fandango is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Fandango prevents Howarth from getting back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Howarth uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fandango.
Fandango on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A jab from Howarth does it's job there.
Fandango tries for a takedown but Howarth sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fandango doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Howarth scores with a sloppy right hand. Fandango should have avoided that one.

Fandango fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Howarth avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Babushka Fandango. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Howarth gets in close and tags Fandango with a short punch that almost sends Fandango to the mat! Oh Fandango is in big trouble! He turns his back on Howarth, trying to create some distance but Howarth rushes him, striking wildly and Fandango goes down! The referee tackles Howarth into the cage to end the fight! Howarth is one violent man!
