Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bishop closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bishop thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Fitzgerald is doing well to control the position and prevent Bishop from advancing to side control.
Fitzgerald looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bishop is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Fitzgerald is staying active underneath Bishop, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Bishop not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bishop tries to pass the half guard into mount. Fitzgerald knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Fitzgerald wants to control but Bishop is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Bishop throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bishop has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bishop throwing shots but Fitzgerald is blocking nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bishop connects with a nice short shot to Fitzgerald's temple.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bishop throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bishop ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Bishop gets a clinch.
Bishop blocks an elbow strike.

Fitzgerald's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Franklin Fitzgerald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bishop takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fitzgerald misses with a wild body shot.
Bishop takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fitzgerald looks to score with a jab to the body but Bishop is just out of range.
Fitzgerald walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bishop checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Fitzgerald misses with a low kick as Bishop jumps back.
Fitzgerald takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Franklin Fitzgerald has been cut.
Bishop tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fitzgerald paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fitzgerald only half commits to the counter leg kick.

Fitzgerald lands a nice shot to the body.
Fitzgerald throws a body kick, spinning off balance
letting Bishop counter with a right hand.
Bishop takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fitzgerald lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Bishop is rocked!
Bishop fails with an attempt to clinch.
Oh Bishop is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bishop checks a low kick from Fitzgerald.
Bishop takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bishop gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Fitzgerald gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
