Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronald Ringwald!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ringwald lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Ringwald scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Preuss throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ringwald counters with a stiff right hand.
Preuss looks to land a combination but Ringwald avoids it well.
Caio Preuss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Preuss takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ringwald avoids a punch combination nicely.

Ringwald has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Preuss fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ringwald throws a good cross that connects.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Preuss lands a left and a right that sends Ringwald crashing to the canvas! Preuss dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Ronald Ringwald has been cut.

Preuss goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ringwald turns into him and now he's in Preuss's guard.
Ringwald is still in real trouble! Can Preuss finish him?
Ringwald wants to control from the top but Preuss keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ringwald is looking to stand up but Preuss won't let him.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ringwald works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Ringwald is trying to control. Preuss wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Preuss is looking for a sweep. Ringwald is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ringwald maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Preuss could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ringwald has cracked it and Preuss is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ringwald!
