Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerrold Vaughan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Everaldo Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Junior rushes Vaughan and presses him up against the cage.
Vaughan wants a takedown.

Junior lands a right hand.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerrold Vaughan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Junior breaks from the clinch.

Junior pushes Vaughan up against the cage in a clinch.

Vaughan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Junior's waist but Junior gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vaughan off to one side.
Junior scores with a head kick. Vaughan tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Jerrold Vaughan has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Vaughan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Vaughan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Vaughan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Vaughan wants to take the fight to the mat but Junior manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Vaughan has Junior pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Junior manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Junior pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Junior misses with a two punch combination.
It looked like Vaughan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Junior throws a head kick that misses

and Vaughan counters with a takedown into side control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Junior tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Junior kicks off Vaughan and gets to his feet.
Vaughan shoots in looking for a takedown. Junior tries to sprawl out of it but Vaughan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Junior manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vaughan is breathing heavily.

Junior fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vaughan, pushing him back against the cage.
Junior scores with a nice hook to the head.

Vaughan is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Junior is defending well.
Vaughan can't get the takedown.

Junior manages to break the clinch.

Junior moves into range and clinches up with Vaughan.
Vaughan wants to get back to striking at distance but Junior won't allow it.

Everaldo Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Junior breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vaughan fails with a takedown attempt.
Vaughan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Junior's waist but Junior gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vaughan off to one side.
A head kick misses from Junior.
Everaldo Junior is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A nice inside leg kick there by Junior. That's going to slow Vaughan down.

Junior clinches up against the cage.

Vaughan wants to take the fight to the mat but Junior manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Junior is pressed up against the cage. Vaughan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Junior down to the mat. Junior avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Junior lands a high kick!

Vaughan is rocked!

Junior clinches.
Oh Vaughan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Junior fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Vaughan out cold! Brutal finish!
