The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muntz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Butcher.
Butcher sizes up Muntz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
We've been informed that Muntz has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Butcher misses with a double jab.

Butcher darts in and clinches Muntz up against the cage.
Muntz lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Muntz is working Butcher over against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Muntz.

Muntz swings wildly with an uppercut but Butcher uses good head movement to avoid it.

Butcher might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Muntz frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Muntz wants to control the pace but Butcher is squirming around nicely.

Muntz is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Butcher can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh Butcher is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Muntz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Butcher is looking to escape.
Muntz looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Butcher covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
