Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Christopher Binse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Udo Hitzlsperger!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Binse darts in looking for a takedown but Hitzlsperger gets double underhooks and turns Binse into the cage.
Christopher Binse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

enabling Hitzlsperger to counter with a crisp jab.
Binse throws a front kick aimed at Hitzlsperger's knee but Hitzlsperger avoids it well.

Binse has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hitzlsperger has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Christopher Binse will probably get the nod.

Binse seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hitzlsperger does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That was a close second round but I would say that Christopher Binse will probably get the nod.
