Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carmine Odonnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kagami Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carmine Odonnell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kagami Honda!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odonnell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Odonnell. No joy for Honda on that attempt.

Odonnell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Odonnell wants it to stay on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Honda has hold of Odonnell's hands but Odonnell slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Honda enables Odonnell to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Honda manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Odonnell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Honda looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kagami Honda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Odonnell has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
