Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nicol Bolas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lars Nilsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lars Nilsson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicol Bolas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lars Nilsson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nilsson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bolas drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bolas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bolas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Nilsson wants to sweep but no luck.
Bolas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bolas throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nilsson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Bolas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nilsson pinned against the cage. Nilsson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Nilsson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bolas momentarily.
Nilsson lands a slapping body shot.
Bolas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nilsson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Nilsson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bolas's head backwards.
Nicol Bolas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bolas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Bolas goes for a double leg but Nilsson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nilsson continues to drive forward.
Nilsson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bolas back to the cage. Nilsson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Bolas shoots in for a takedown but Nilsson shows good takedown defense.

Bolas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bolas lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Bolas misses with the ground and pound.
Bolas lands a few punches from side control.
Nilsson is looking to reverse the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Nicol Bolas will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bolas has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nilsson.

and Nilsson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Bolas takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Nilsson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Bolas shoots in for a takedown but Nilsson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Nilsson lands a big head kick that sends Bolas tumbling to the mat! Nilsson takes a step backwards and waves Bolas back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bolas is rocked!
Bolas is aggressively charging in as Nilsson backs up avoiding any damage. Nilsson tosses out a jab and Bolas runs right into it face first! Bolas is out cold! Nilsson dropped down on all fours and is barking in Bolas's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
