The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moreiro pinned against the cage. Moreiro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Maddox misses with the combination.
Maddox gets caught flat footed, as Moreiro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Maddox is trying to keep Moreiro in close.
Maddox really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moreiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moreiro wants to pass the guard but Maddox is keeping the position.
Moreiro landing with the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moreiro postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Moreiro loads up on a big left hand. Maddox felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Moreiro looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Maddox can't hide his disappointment, as Moreiro celebrates the victory.
