Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phoenix Wright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Markus Landfill!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landfill swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Wright counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Landfill looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Landfill rushes Wright and presses him up against the cage.
Wright is trying to force a seperation but Landfill has the dominant position.
Landfill lands a hook that snaps the head of Wright backwards.
Wright tries to circle away but Landfill has him pinned against the cage.
Landfill wants the takedown. Wright is fighting it off but Landfill persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Wright's guard against the cage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wright wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Landfill with a nice head shot there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Landfill is in close to Wright's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Wright pulls Landfill in close to prevent any damage.
Landfill throws a big right hand that misses.
Landfill wants to control from the top but Wright keeps moving.
Wright trying to keep a closed guard but Landfill is proving a slippery customer.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Landfill chips away with some ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Landfill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Wright trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Wright is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wright is breathing heavily.
Landfill trying to control the position from guard on top but Wright is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Landfill chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Landfill connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Phoenix Wright has been cut.
Landfill lands a high kick to the side of Wright's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Landfill dives into guard, looking to finish.
Wright is rocked!
Landfill lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Oh Wright is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Landfill thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Wright can't keep his opponent in guard - Landfill advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Landfill is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Landfill lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Wright! More strikes land and this one is all over! Landfill jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
