Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Lawrence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Bong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawrence comes to the cage accompanied by Business - Eminem. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence misses the shot to the body.
Lawrence pushes Bong away with a front kick.
Lawrence tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bong throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lawrence sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bong misses with a body shot.
A little feinted left hand from Lawrence on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bong takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lawrence throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Lawrence chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Lawrence tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bong or perhaps it was just good defense by Lawrence, which made it look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawrence lands a front kick.
Lawrence feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bong's calf.

Bong takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lawrence lands with a thumping leg kick.

Bong gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lawrence has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Bong tries to stall but Lawrence uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Bong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bong tries for a takedown but Lawrence manages to get underhooks.
Bong has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lawrence after a bit of a struggle.

Bong using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lawrence has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A short body shot lands from Lawrence as the two fighters clinch.
Come on Lawrence - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Bong is trying to stall.
Lawrence lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Lawrence lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Lawrence breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bong crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lawrence - the referee stops the clock and Bong gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lawrence. Bong manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Bong is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lawrence connects with a single shot there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lawrence pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lawrence thuds a left hand into Bong's body.
Lawrence turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A right hook to the body lands for Lawrence.
Lawrence scores with a shot to the side of Bong's head.
Lawrence misses with a punch to the body.
Lawrence has a couple of punches blocked by Bong.
Lawrence lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Lawrence lands with a left to the head.
Lawrence goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Lawrence manages to break the clinch.
Lawrence is looking to wear down Bong with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Lawrence throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bong's head.

Bong drives through with a takedown into guard.

Bong thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lawrence tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bong is trying to get an arm triangle but Lawrence is defending well.

Bong has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lawrence is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bong yanks on the arm and Lawrence is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bong.
