Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Cristopher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Eberle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dante Eberle is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eberle is looking to clinch but Cristopher is avoiding it.
Cristopher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eberle tries to avoid it but Cristopher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eberle to the ground. Eberle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cristopher.
Eberle throws a nice head kick!

Eberle wants to stand and escape but Cristopher is having none of it.

Cristopher is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Eberle is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Eberle has escaped and now he's on top!

Eberle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cristopher has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Eberle has managed to get both his arms back between Cristopher's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Eberle counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cristopher is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Eberle fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cristopher has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
