The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunts throws a sloppy head kick and Matos moves out of range easily.
Hunts misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunts wants to stand up but Matos is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Matos wants to work for an arm triangle but Hunts is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Matos is looking for a kimura but Hunts is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Matos to get the leverage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Matos passes Hunts's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Matos passes to side control.
Hunts prevents Matos from improving position.
Matos connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hunts some visible discomfort.
Hunts really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Matos tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Matos looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hunts stops Matos from passing to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Matos is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Hunts is forced to tap! Great finish!
