The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cold lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Dempsey slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Dempsey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Dempsey counters with a right hand that wobbles Cold! He's out on his feet! Dempsey follows up with a left hook and a final right hand that knocks Cold out cold! No need for a referee count here - this fight is all over! Dempsey jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with his corner.
