Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Frederick Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that David Drake was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frederick Jackson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Drake!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Frederick Jackson has been cut.
Drake digs a good body shot into Jackson's ribs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Drake does a little dance to reset his feet.

Drake closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Drake lands a hook to the side of the head.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Jackson.
Jackson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Drake lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jackson backwards.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Drake throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Drake stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Drake lands a hook to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Drake creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Jackson misses with a hook from the clinch.
A short left from Drake.

Drake scores with a shot to the side of Jackson's head.

Drake gets through Jackson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A body shot lands from Drake.

Drake creates a bit of space and cracks Jackson with an uppercut that drops him to the canvas! Jackson is wobbled and seems to be struggling to get back to his feet. 3,4,5. He's up! Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!


Jackson is rocked!

Drake closes the distance and clinches.
Drake cracks Jackson with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Jackson goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Jackson wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). David Drake!
David Drake is the new super heavyweight champion!
After winning the bout, David Drake thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
