The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negi misses with a straight right.
Sanchez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Negi.
Nidhi Negi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Negi throws a shot to the body.
Negi throws a lazy right hand but Sanchez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sanchez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Negi lands a jab to Sanchez's midsection.
Negi connects with a single shot there.
Negi punishes Sanchez's body with a nice straight punch.
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch but Negi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Negi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sanchez sprawling to the canvas! Sanchez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Negi finish him?!

Sanchez is rocked!

Oh Sanchez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sanchez is breathing heavily.
Negi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sanchez at a distance.
Negi lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Sanchez head around and knocks him out cold! Negi hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
