Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ratimir Yenin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergai Katanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yenin's entrance music is Apocalyptica - Enter Sand Man. A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katanov throws a chopping leg kick but Yenin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Katanov misses the shot to the body.
A counter left hand to the body from Yenin misses its target.
Yenin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Katanov tries to bum rush Yenin with a series of wild strikes but Yenin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No luck for Yenin with that takedown attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Katanov. Those never looked like landing.

Yenin seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Sergai Katanov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yenin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Katanov as he avoids it easily.

Katanov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Yenin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Katanov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Katanov advances to half guard.
Yenin moves into full guard.

Yenin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Katanov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Katanov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sergai Katanov dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Yenin feinted with a counter takedown.
Katanov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Katanov looks to land a body kick but Yenin moved away.
Yenin half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Katanov is looking to clinch but Yenin is avoiding it.
Yenin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Katanov! But no joy.

It looked like Yenin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Katanov tries to clinch up but Yenin circles away and keeps his distance.

Yenin is looking to cinch up a triangle. Katanov throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Yenin's body to avoid the submission. Yenin has instead reached around Katanov's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Yenin arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
