Berns feints and as Collins raises his hands in defense, Berns changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Berns's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Collins wants to stand but Berns is controlling the position.
Berns passes Collins's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Berns frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Collins wants to try and get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
