Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sid Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quentyn Martell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morrison comes into the arena with The Clocks blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison with a lazy takedown attempt
and Martell counters with a left to the body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Morrison checks a leg kick.
Morrison tries for a takedown but Martell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We've been hearing reports that Morrison has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Martell leaves Morrison with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morrison looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Martell drops Morrison with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Morrison! Martell dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
