PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Leite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bibano Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Leite might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bate pesadão. Fernandes has chosen Gimmie Shelter as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes throws out a loose jab but Leite uses good head movement to avoid it.
Leite fails with an attempt to clinch.

Fernandes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fernandes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Leite really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fernandes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Leite knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fernandes on the ground.

Leite closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Leite lands in his opponent's guard.
