The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharts slips a jab and a cross from Simpson.
Simpson lands with a nice combination. Sharts backs away looking to recover.
Simpson misses with a wild combination.
And Sharts tries to counter it with a takedown but Simpson pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Simpson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sharts.
Sharts takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sharts slips a jab and a cross from Simpson.
Sharts staying out of range there.
Sharts swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Simpson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Sharts is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Simpson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Sharts drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Simpson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Sharts's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
