Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anzor Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shingo Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greene kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Skindred - Nobody. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anzor Greene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shingo Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Tanaka counters with an inside leg kick.
Tanaka lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Tanaka feints and then cracks Greene's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Greene down.
Greene shoots in looking for a takedown but Tanaka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Greene's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Greene dives in and grabs Tanaka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tanaka pushes down on Greene's head and hops out.
Tanaka was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anzor Greene. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Greene throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tanaka's waist but Tanaka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Greene off to one side.

Our sources have told us that Greene has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Greene wants to take the fight to the mat but Tanaka manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Greene is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Tanaka is keeping busy.

Shingo Tanaka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tanaka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
