The crowd seem to be enjoying Duterte's choice of entrance music: Tayo ay Dabawenyo. Basil Hastings has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hastings stalks Duterte and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Duterte's face. Duterte staggers backwards, shaken.
Hastings looks to land a body kick but Duterte moved away.
Hastings checks a low kick from Duterte.
The fight stays on the outside here - Duterte looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Duterte is looking for the big counter here.
Hastings takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Duterte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hastings darts in and clinches Duterte up against the cage.
Hastings struggles to land a body shot inside as Duterte controls his hands.

Hastings creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Duterte crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5, yes, he's made it back to his feet. He seems OK so it looks like we're going to continue!
It looks like Rodrigo Duterte has been cut.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Hastings for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Hastings creates a bit of space and cracks Duterte with an uppercut that drops him to the canvas! Duterte is wobbled and seems to be struggling to get back to his feet. 3,4,5. He's up! Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!
Hastings cracks Duterte with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Duterte is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Duterte is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Duterte could not beat the count!
