Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Glen Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Stick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danzig comes to the cage accompanied by The Misfits- Night of the Living Dead. Glen Danzig had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Glen Danzig has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Glen Danzig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Stick!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stick throws a body shot but no joy.
Stick misses with a takedown attempt
and Danzig counters with a nice uppercut.
Danzig lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stick at a distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Stick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Danzig, as that shot connected.
Stick takes one on the button.
Danzig lands a lovely overhand right.
Stick is rocked!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stick.
Danzig went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Glen Danzig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Stick.
A left lands for Danzig.
A head kick from Danzig lands but Stick takes it in his stride.
Stick is still on wobbly legs! Can Danzig finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Danzig tries to avoid it but Stick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Danzig to the ground. Danzig escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stick seems to have recovered his senses.
Stick tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Danzig defends well and Stick ends up having to push Danzig into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Stick throws a leg kick that is checked
and Danzig counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Danzig stuffs the takedown.
Stick on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Stick misses with a low kick.
Danzig scores with a jab. Stick acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Glen Danzig is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stick misses with a takedown attempt
and Danzig counters with a nice uppercut.
Stick does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Danzig is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Danzig bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Stick throws a predictable looking body shot
and Danzig counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A chopping leg kick lands by Danzig.
Danzig pounces like a tiger and cracks Stick with a vicious hook! Stick is down but not out! Danzig follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Glen Danzig!
Glen Danzig bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
