Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Herrera!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Herrera wants to counter with a clinch but Evans pushes him away.
Herrera attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
It looked like Evans wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Evans scores with a push kick.
Evans misses with a body kick.
Herrera walks into a stiff left hand from Evans.
Evans changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Evans lands a two punch combo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Evans fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Herrera is rocked!
We've been told by Evans's head coaches at BigMouth Cabrons that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Evans ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Herrera moves away.
Herrera fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Evans throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Evans lets loose with a powerful body kick. Herrera will feel that in the morning.
Evans stuffs the takedown attempt from Herrera. Herrera gets slowly back to his feet.
Evans throws a front kick that sends Herrera stumbling back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Herrera gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Evans.
Evans thows a body kick. Herrera tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Evans scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Herrera has a takedown stuffed.
Nick Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerry Herrera.
Evans lands a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Evans fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Herrera looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nick Evans is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Evans throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

and Herrera counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Evans slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Evans seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Herrera trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Evans has his feet on Herrera's thighs here. He's pushed Herrera off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Herrera screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
