Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between CoCo Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Rye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). CoCo Ware had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, CoCo Ware!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Rye!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rye takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Sam Rye has been cut.
Horrible takedown by Rye or perhaps it was just good defense by Ware which made him look bad.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rye.
Rye uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ware.
Good leg kick by Ware there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rye looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A slow jab from Ware misses its intended target.
Ware thuds his right hand into Rye's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ware cracks Rye with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rye tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ware pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rye is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). CoCo Ware!
