Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mohammed Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phyuck Yui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phyuck Yui has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yui throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Yui is looking to clinch.
Yui tries to clinch but Simmons moves out of range.
Simmons drops down looking for a counter takedown but Yui sprawls and moves away.

Yui throws a left and a right that both miss

and Simmons counters with a takedown into side control.

Simmons tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Simmons has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yui is working to avoid the ground and pound but Simmons connects with a decent elbow.
Yui is trying to get back to his feet.

Simmons decides to stand up, so the ref orders Yui to his feet.

Yui misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Simmons.
Simmons jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Yui moves into range and clinches up with Simmons.
Simmons really is a fat lump.
Simmons swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Yui misses with a punch to the body.
Simmons can't break the clinch.
Simmons is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Yui works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Simmons misses with a hook from the clinch.
Yui blocks an uppercut.

Yui lands a knee to the body.

Yui lands a shoulder strike.
Yui lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Yui lands a nice knee to the body.
Simmons is breathing heavily.

Simmons breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yui throws a head kick but Simmons moves out of range.
No joy there for Yui, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yui throws a front kick that sends Simmons stumbling back into the cage.
Yui lands a jab to Simmons's midsection.

Yui throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Simmons stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Yui follows into mount!

It looks like Mohammed Simmons has been cut.
Yui looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Let's hope that Yui has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Yui.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Yui is continuing to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Phyuck Yui dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mohammed Simmons's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Yui lets loose with a powerful body kick. Simmons will feel that in the morning.

Yui drops Simmons with a left and a right! Oh, Simmons is hurt - Yui dives into side control looking to finish!

Simmons is rocked!

Yui stands up.
Oh Simmons is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yui throws a powerful right kick. Simmons tried to block low but the kick was high! Simmons was taken right off of his feet! Yui jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Phyuck Yui!
