Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Goss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyron Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Goss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyron Lawler!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Goss connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lawler scrambles back to his feet.


It looks like Tyron Lawler has been cut.
Goss has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lawler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goss moves away.

Goss has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alex Goss.
I think Lawler has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
