Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between El Ka Bong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike McGoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bong comes to the cage accompanied by ULTRAMAGNETIC MCs - Ego Trippin. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGoo tries a head kick but it misses.

Bong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McGoo to the mat! McGoo manages to get full guard.
McGoo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bong.
Bong wants to pass the guard but McGoo is keeping the position.
Bong is working hard here to advance position.
Bong is in close to McGoo's body, working some short punches and elbows.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGoo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bong trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bong passes McGoo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Bong works his way into side control.

Bong tries for a kimura but McGoo is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bong misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bong wants to lay and pray for a moment but McGoo keeps working.

McGoo takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bong tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Bong in side control lands a decent elbow.
Bong looking to punish the body of his opponent here but McGoo is avoiding damage well.
McGoo is trying to get back to half guard.
Bong throws an elbow but McGoo slips to the side and avoids it well.
McGoo is trying to get back to his feet.
McGoo told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
The ground and pound from Bong seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Bong is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. McGoo is trying to escape and Bong transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and McGoo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bong! Very nice indeed!
