The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Dred. No joy for holden on that attempt.
holden fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

holden closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dred misses with a punch to the body.

holden pulls guard successfully.
Dred stopping the sweep attempt from holden.
Dred pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. holden is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
holden trying to keep a closed guard but Dred is proving a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Dred avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dred uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before holden has time to react.
Dred misses with a two punch combination.
Judge Dred seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dred throws a solid leg kick but holden takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dred.
holden tries to bum rush Dred with a series of wild strikes but Dred uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dred lands a nice hook to holden's body. holden takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
holden is breathing heavily.
Dred scores with a nice strike.
Dred throws a series of punches but holden avoids them all with ease.
Dred throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
holden has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from holden there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dred lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Judge Dred is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dred lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
holden checks the leg kick nicely there.
holden blocks a low kick nicely.
Dred stuns holden with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Dred lands the left hand.
Dred cracks holden with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! holden looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dred finish him?

holden is rocked!
Dred lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oh holden is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dred ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
holden seems to have got his legs back now.
Dred attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Dred lands with a right and another and another! holden is in big trouble! Dred lands again and this time it's lights out for holden! A quality knockout there for Dred.
