Ferguson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rauhanen ducks straight into an uppercut from Ferguson and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Rauhanen maanges to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Eetu Rauhanen has been cut.
Rauhanen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ferguson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rauhanen's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rauhanen is working an open guard so Ferguson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Ferguson throws a shot from downtown. Rauhanen moves away and avoids it.
Ferguson misses with a hook. Rauhanen ducked under it nicely.

Ferguson steps into range and cracks Rauhanen with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Rauhanen flops backwards and Ferguson dives into his guard looking to finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ferguson cracks Rauhanen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

That has opened up Eetu Rauhanen's cut even more.

The crowd cheers as Ferguson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rauhanen doesn't seem phased though.

Oooh a lovely combination from Ferguson sends Rauhanen down but not out. Ferguson dives into side control looking to finish.

The cut above Eetu Rauhanen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Ferguson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rauhanen.

Eetu Rauhanen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Ferguson tests Rauhanen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ferguson misses with a looping left.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ferguson looks to throw the jab but Rauhanen is out of range.

Ferguson throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Rauhanen stumbling backwards into the cage! Rauhanen bounces back off the cage towards Ferguson, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Ferguson lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Ferguson celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
