Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keith Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Angstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masters comes to the cage accompanied by hall of fame. This should be fireworks!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keith Masters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Angstrom!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Masters instigates a clinch.

Masters pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Masters shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Masters was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Masters decides to stand back up.
A low kick from Angstrom misses
and Masters counters with a nice body shot.
Masters tries to clinch up

and Angstrom counters with a takedown into side control.
Masters tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Angstrom wants to control the pace but Masters is squirming around nicely.

Angstrom working for a guillotine from mount but Masters is in no mood to give up.
Masters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Angstrom on the ground.

Masters is trying to escape the mount.
Masters wants to control but Angstrom is having none of it.
Angstrom raining down shots from the mount!
Masters is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Angstrom with a couple of short strikes.
Masters is bucking up trying to escape but Angstrom cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Masters wants to control but Angstrom is having none of it.
Angstrom has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Angstrom is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Masters has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Angstrom is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Masters can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Angstrom looking to control but Masters is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Angstrom is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Masters can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Masters tries to reverse the position but Angstrom maintains control.

Angstrom wants to take Masters's back here but Masters is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Masters wants to hold on but Angstrom pushes him away.

Angstrom is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Angstrom extends the arm and Masters is forced to tap!

The defeated Keith Masters had this to say: 'we were equals in the cage, it was gonna be about who faltered first. and it turned out to be me. wont happen agian'.
