Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vu Hoang feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Vu Hoang pushing down on Travis's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Vu Hoang slows the pace down in half guard.
Vu Hoang is looking to stall here but Travis recovers full guard.
Vu Hoang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Travis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Travis throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Vu Hoang slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vu Hoang tries to pass the half guard into mount. Travis knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Travis is trying to stand back up but Vu Hoang is controlling him
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Travis is defending against the submission attempts here by Vu Hoang.

Vu Hoang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Travis tries to roll over but Vu Hoang keeps him under control.

Vu Hoang seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Travis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Vu Hoang works his way into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Travis is bucking up trying to escape but Vu Hoang cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Vu Hoang controlling the pace for now.
Travis sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Vu Hoang trying to pass the guard but Travis defending well.
Travis wants to get back to full guard.
Vu Hoang is keen to just control but Travis is a slippery customer.

Vu Hoang is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Travis is trying to stand up here but Vu Hoang is controlling him well.
Vu Hoang is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Travis pushes Vu Hoang off looking to stand but Vu Hoang dives back in and keeps control.
Vu Hoang moves nicely into side control.

Travis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
