Harrison comes to the cage accompanied by Ocean Colour Scene - Hundred Mile High City. Sammy Reed acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammy Reed!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like Sammy Reed has been cut.
Reed misses with a few strikes there.
Harrison dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Reed. That did some damage!
Reed lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Harrison at a distance.
Reed throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harrison.
Harrison connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Reed throws a leg kick but Harrison sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Reed misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Harrison.
A nice leg kick lands there from Harrison.
Harrison throws a low kick, looking for Reed's leg but Reed calmly moves out of range.
Reed moves forwards but Harrison connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Reed throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Harrison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Harrison lands a really nice looking cross but Reed seems unphased.
Reed comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Reed uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Harrison.

Reed gets tackled into the cage by Harrison. Harrison maintains the clinch.
Reed is trying to break the clinch but Harrison is controlling him.

Reed throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Harrison stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Harrison counters with a nice low kick that buckles Reed's knee momentarily.

Reed connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Harrison's hands.
Harrison throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Harrison counters with a low kick, right behind Reed 's knee.
Reed tries to bum rush Harrison with a series of wild strikes but Harrison uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Harrison looks to throw the jab but Reed is out of range.

Harrison has managed to clinch.
Reed wants to break free but Harrison has control.

Reed has had enough of the clinch but Harrison keeps him there for the moment.

Reed throws a looping overhand right but Harrison ducks down to avoid it.
Harrison lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reed's sensitive parts.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Reed tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Harrison fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Reed on the side of the head.

and Harrison cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Harrison is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Reed can do to turn this around?
Harrison connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Reed momentarily.

Harrison pushes Reed back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Harrison moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Reed's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Reed throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harrison.

Reed looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
