Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Grim Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Testo Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grim Ace could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Testo Speed's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Grim Ace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Testo Speed!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ace forces Speed back against the cage and clinches.

Speed breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ace jabs Speed to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Speed stuffs the takedown attempt from Ace. Ace gets slowly back to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Speed has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Speed doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ace counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Speed tries for a takedown but Ace circles away easily

Ace is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Speed shoots for a double leg takedown but Ace sprawls well. He's pushed Speed's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ace was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Grim Ace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Testo Speed.

Ace has hold of one of Speed's legs. Speed is fighting the takedown attempt but Ace gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Speed has momentary wrist control but Ace slips an elbow through the middle.
Ace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Speed swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Speed is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Speed looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ace stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ace wants it to stay on the feet.
Ace connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Speed momentarily.
Ace tries to clinch but Speed moves out of range.
Ace lands with a nice combination. Speed backs away looking to recover.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ace fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Testo Speed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ace keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ace prevents the takedown attempt.

Ace cracks Speed with a nice body shot.

Ace breaks from the clinch.
Speed gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ace.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ace enables Speed to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ace manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Speed lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Ace grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Ace trying to control the hands but Speed won't let him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ace is trying to get back to his feet but Speed has full control of the position and if anything, Ace has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee is taking a good look at Ace as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Speed!

Testo Speed showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Speed closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ace swings wildly with an uppercut but Speed uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ace makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Ace breaks from the clinch.
Speed darts in looking for a takedown but Ace gets double underhooks and turns Speed into the cage.
Grim Ace is winning the standup battle so far.
Ace lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ace lands with a nice combination. Speed backs away looking to recover.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ace is defended easily by Speed.

Ace moves into range and connects with a jab.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ace's corner calls for a 1-2. Ace obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Speed tries to counter with a clinch but Ace shakes him off and moves away.
Ace tries to close the distance and clinch up but Speed swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Speed shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ace but Ace pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ace catches Speed with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Speed is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Speed swats away the attempt to clinch by Ace.
Speed moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A shot to the liver by Ace. Beautiful body shot.
Ace will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Speed will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ace is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Speed can do to turn this around?

I would just about give that final round to Testo Speed.
