Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Small!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Arnold.
Arnold connects with a leg kick. Small looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Small shoots for a takedown but Arnold saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Arnold lands with a nice body kick.
A slow jab from Arnold misses its intended target.
Arnold throws a body punch but Small moves out of range.
Small with the counter takedown but Arnold avoids it easily.
A swing and a miss from Small.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arnold throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Arnold throws a nice outside leg kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Arnold.

Arnold shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Small eats them both and turns towards Arnold to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Arnold misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Small lands a slapping body shot.
Arnold looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Small walks forward, straight into a front kick from Arnold.
Arnold looks for the body kick but Small saw that one coming.
Small is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Nice body kick there by Arnold.
Arnold throws a lazy body kick

and Small counters with a takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Small wants to control but Arnold is keeping him busy.
Arnold has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Small tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Arnold is trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Small thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Arnold knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Small on the ground.
Arnold is looking to regain half guard here but Small keeps moving and retains side control.

Small has hold of Arnold's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Arnold tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Small cranks the arm and Arnold screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Arnold, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Dan Small was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
