Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Vorhes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Swebs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jason Vorhes has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Vorhes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sebastian Swebs!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vorhes instigates a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Swebs has Vorhes pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Vorhes manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Vorhes jumps guard but Swebs turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Swebs lands a takedown into guard.
Vorhes not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Swebs must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Swebs is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Vorhes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Swebs wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vorhes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Vorhes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Swebs wants to control but Vorhes is keeping busy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Vorhes not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Vorhes prevents Swebs from improving his position.
Vorhes is looking to take a break and control but Swebs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Swebs tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vorhes swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Vorhes dives in for a single leg takedown but Swebs sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Swebs changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vorhes tries to avoid it but Swebs manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vorhes to the ground. Vorhes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Vorhes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Swebs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vorhes somewhat.

Vorhes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Swebs.

Swebs moves into the clinch.

Vorhes drags the fight down to the ground.
Swebs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vorhes swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Swebs is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vorhes is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vorhes has escaped and now he's on top!

Vorhes tries to stand but Swebs is controlling from the bottom.

Swebs controls Vorhes momentarily but Vorhes frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Vorhes will probably get the nod.
That's time! Vorhes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Vorhes has Swebs pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Swebs manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Vorhes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vorhes.
Swebs changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Swebs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vorhes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Swebs paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Swebs shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vorhes as he avoids it easily.

Vorhes leaves Swebs with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Vorhes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Swebs as he jumps to the side.

Jason Vorhes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Swebs displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vorhes.
Swebs tried to score with a low kick but Vorhes checks it.

Swebs wants to take a breather but Vorhes manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Swebs.
Vorhes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Swebs dives in and scores a takedown into Vorhes's guard.
Swebs working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vorhes's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Swebs is looking to work some ground and pound but Vorhes has wrist control.
Swebs throws a big elbow that misses.
Vorhes has momentary wrist control but Swebs slips an elbow through the middle.
Sebastian Swebs has got the better of the ground game so far.
Vorhes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Swebs is one step ahead there.
Swebs is working Vorhes over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Vorhes throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Swebs wants to control but Vorhes postures up.

Swebs seems a little lost for a moment, as Vorhes dominates the positioning.
Vorhes is looking to take a break and control but Swebs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Vorhes has control of an arm but Swebs manages to advance to Vorhes's back!

Vorhes covering up well under a barage of strikes.
Swebs cracks Vorhes with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Vorhes from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Swebs misses with an elbow to the head.
You can see the frustration on Vorhes's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Swebs is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
