Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Ricci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xander Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dexter Ricci has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dexter Ricci!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Xander Graves!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricci throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ricci is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Graves.
Ricci tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Graves manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Graves tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Ricci gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Graves to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Graves stands and throws Ricci's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Graves tries to advance to mount but Ricci denies him.
Graves has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Hut - $50. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ricci avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Graves.

Graves is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ricci is trying to escape and Graves transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ricci is forced to tap! Nice work there by Graves! Very nice indeed!
