The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medeiros takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Halder darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Halder works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Medeiros throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Halder fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Halder uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Medeiros.
Halder lands a nice hook to Medeiros's body. Medeiros takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice defenses there by Halder.
Halder lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Medeiros looks winded!
Medeiros misses with a lunging right hand

and Halder counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Halder is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Halder is nestled in close to Medeiros, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
