PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lord Humungus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Humungus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to This Life. Brad Smith will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humungus takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Humungus moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Good standup being displayed there by Smith as he connects with a hook.

Humungus is rocked!
Smith fails with the takedown.
Oh Humungus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Humungus swats away the attempt to clinch by Smith.
Humungus seems to have got his legs back now.
Smith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Smith sends Humungus crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Smith is motioning to the referee to let Humungus up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

and Humungus counters with a shoot takedown. Smith fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Humungus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Humungus definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Humungus wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.
