The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fabbri shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Unz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Unz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Fabbri avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Unz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Unz has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Fabbri got a little sloppy there for a moment and Unz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fabbri has managed to get both his arms back between Unz's legs - danger averted.
Fabbri keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Unz's head.

Fabbri seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Well, if Fabbri is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Fabbri seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Unz has his foot on Fabbri's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fabbri works his way back into a safe position though.

Fabbri postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Unz has momentary wrist control but Fabbri slips an elbow through the middle.

Unz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Unz throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Fabbri lands a couple of elbows.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Unz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fabbri manages to get himself to full guard.

Fabbri is pulling down on Unz's head. It's preventing any offense from Unz, at least for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Fabbri fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Unz to the ground. Fabbri is now in Unz's guard.
Fabbri chips away with some ground and pound.

Unz is rocked!
Fabbri arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Unz's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Saverio Fabbri!
After the fight, Saverio Fabbri was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
