The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dogerham lands a left and a right that send Maclin crashing to the mat, dazed. Dogerham thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Maclin is rocked!

It looks like Peter Maclin has been cut.
Maclin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Dogerham misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Maclin is still on wobbly legs! Can Dogerham finish him?

Dogerham fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Maclin, pushing him back against the cage.
Maclin seems to have recovered his senses.
Dogerham's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Maclin wants to break free but Dogerham has control.

Maclin is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dogerham is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Maclin to the mat. Maclin regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dogerham moves in looking to clinch but Maclin pushes him off.

Dogerham forces Maclin back against the cage and clinches.
Dogerham drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Maclin gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dogerham's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Maclin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dogerham swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dogerham misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dogerham goes for a double leg but Maclin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Maclin continues to drive forward.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dogerham shoots for a double leg takedown but Maclin sprawls well. He's pushed Dogerham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Dogerham gets control of Maclin's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dogerham will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Maclin is sitting in close to Dogerham's body. Dogerham has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Maclin is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Maclin is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dogerham.
